Editorial standards
Pages are written in plain English. A number, rating, or savings claim stays off the page unless a public source states it and the URL is on the page.
What we will not publish
No provider rate tables, no invented testimonials, and no ranking of plans. We don't have a live plan feed. Comparison happens on Power to Choose.
City utilities
A reviewed city page names a delivery utility only after a representative ZIP was checked on Power to Choose, or a PUCT or ERCOT page names the arrangement. The ZIP and the date sit in the sources list. Mixed ZIPs are described as mixed. Unreviewed city URLs say we have not assigned a utility.
Indexing
The whole site is noindex until that gate is opened on purpose. After that, only reviewed pages are eligible. The other city URLs stay noindex until each one has a checked utility and its own section. The commercial-plans guide stays noindex.
